Best Day Ever

Simply put, I spent the day at the beach in Villagarcia–where it was 80 degrees and lovely. Admittedly, I didn’t appreciate stabbing my toes on the seashells, nor the seagulls plotting to peck out my eyes, though after two weeks of being surrounded by pigeons I have decided that seagulls are quite tolerable.
When I returned to Santiago, it was to meet Olga and her kids, who I’ll be working with once a week, helping them with their English. Should be super-fun, and they’re really cute!
And to cap off my joy–I explored the used book store next to my flat. Fantastic prices, even my broke auxiliar self could afford a 7€ copy of Cien Años de Soledad, should be hella fun.
And now, early to bed, I have work at 8 a.m.
