Santiago de Compostela

I lived in Santiago de Compostela for two years–2011-2013. Since Santiago has been a tourist destination since the early Middle Ages, with the shrine of St. James and the cathedral leading pilgrims across the continent, it’s completely gorgeous, I have to say. And it was only a 15 minute walk from my house.

  1. Hello, I just got accepted to teach in Galicia with the Auxilliares program. I need to decide in the next few days, and would love some feedback! Please tell me about the program, your highs and lows, and the nightlife. Thank you!!!

    • Hey Nina–you’re welcome to take a look around the blog. I’ve written quite a bit on Galicia and my time there.
